FTPlug2 – FamiTracker-style chiptune instrument as VST3

I love the sound of FamiTracker, but its tracker-based workflow didn’t fit well with how I write music in a DAW.

I also couldn’t find a VST instrument that really captures the way tracker instruments are designed and used.

So I rebuilt the FTPlug concept (originally by Shiru) from scratch as a modern VST3 plugin.

It now supports chips like VRC7 and N163, and is designed to integrate seamlessly into a DAW workflow — while keeping a tracker-like approach to sound design.

If you enjoy tracker-style instruments, this might even let you move your workflow fully into a DAW.
